Illinois High School Volleyball Coaches Association Newly formed, this association will help advance the game at all levels in the state of Illinois- with a particular focus at the high school level- through clinics and other programming. All volleyball advocates are encouraged to join and participate!
Volleyball for Charity This is an annual, co-ed, adult volleyball tournament played at Brother Rice HS, St. Xavier University, and Frontier Park in Chicago Ridge to raise funds for Park Lawn School and Activity Center in Oak Lawn. The tournament is always played on the Saturday after Easter and has a number of divisions- from highly competitive to "Just for Fun." There is also an after-tournament party in the evening- whether or not you play in the tournament. Highly encouraged!

St. Ambrose University Men's Volleyball Program SAU is located in Davenport, Iowa -home of the Fighting Bees. All but 1 of the players are from the Chicago area. Schedules, coach and player profiles, and more. The new head coach is Bill Gleeson of the Br. Rice Class of 2001- 4 year volleyball player and Br. Rice's first college head coach.

Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Playing in 2 divisions- Division I/II and Division III- the official website for the NCAA Division I and III collegiate men's volleyball teams in the Midwest. Updated standings, players of the week, and more are included here.
NCAA- National Collegiate Athletic Association The official website for all NCAA Division I, II, and III athletic programs in all sports. Grade school and high school players who wish to play at one of the NCAA levels are especially encouraged to review the section on the NCAA Initial Eligibility Clearinghouse.
NAIA- National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics The official website of for all colleges and universities that compete in this association. Click on the Emerging Sports tab, then click men's volleyball for further information. Area schools that compete in men's volleyball in the NAIA include St. Xavier University in Chicago and St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa.
IHSA- Illinois High School Association Illinois' official high school sports web site. American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) The national organization for all levels of volleyball coaches. Any volleyball coach may apply for membership which includes receiving their publications. The site also tracks all levels of men's and women's volleyball at the professional, Olympic, collegiate, and club levels.

Volleyball Magazine The only national volleyball publication covering all levels and aspects of the game- very informative as well as provides ideas for conditioning, drills, etc. This is a monthly publication yet quite reasonable- $25 for 1 year, $42 for 2 years.
Palos Courts Palos Courts has a 6 volleyball court capacity and offers a variety of volleyball and conditioning programs throughout the year for grade and high school boys and girls.
