Coach Robinson is the head boys and girls cross-country and track coach at Alexander High School. He is in his 16th season as Track/Cross Country coach for Alexander. During his tenure Alexander has experienced a tremendous amount of success. His teams have won 21 region cross-country and track championships. In 2000, he led his boys’ cross-country team to the school's first team state championship. In 2007 and 2008 his boys cross country teams placed 2nd in 4A. He has coached 12state individual track champions. The following list spotlights some of the many highlights in his career:

In 2000 Alexander won its first ever team state championship in boys cross country.

In addition to his team successes, his personal and professional resume recognizes that Coach Robinson was a 4 year letterman at University of South Carolina in Cross-Country and Track; Has his Level 1 USATF Certification; Attends Georgia Track and Field/X-C Coaches Clinic every year and in 2008 also attended a USATF National Podium Clinic. Furthermore, it is important to note that Coach Robinson coached Junior Olympic team in the late 90s. Additionally, je founded North Georgia Distance Runners Camp to give Georgia and surrounding athletes a closer and more affordable place for summer training and remains Co-Dircter of the Camp. Coach Robinson has been instrumental in sending countless athletes to Division I schools for X-C and Track.

Coach Robinson is married to Valli Robinson who is the media specialist at Alexander. They have one child, Mason.
