2023-Present: Deputy Director of Cartersville Recreation Department.

2020-2023: Head Coach and AD at Excel Christian Academy. Helped guide the Eagles to a 21-9 record and to their first-ever Region Championship in 2022-23 and advanced to the State Championship.

2019-2020: Head Coach Summer Hill-Baseline Postgrad. Teams combined to 72-13, before being shut down due to COVID. The Summer Hill Blue roster, boasts being the unofficial Southeastern Postgrad Champions, with wins over Middle GA Prep, Core-4, and many other top postgrads from Alabama, Tennessee and Florida that season.

2018-19: Head Coach Summer Hill-Baseline Postgrad. Posted 24-3 overall record, capturing the CPRD Title and finishing #9 in the GRPA state rankings.

2017-2018: Head Coach Summer Hill Postgrad. Posted 55-8 overall record on this season and collected the LPBA Title, as well as the SEBL City Conference Summer League Title.

2008-2017: Head Coach/Athletic Director at Chattahoochee Technical College (NJCAA/GCAA). Posted 210-79 overall record in nine seasons.

2006-7: GM/Head Coach of Cartersville Warriors, of the World Basketball Association (WBA) 21-5 overall record. Eastern Conference Champs, League runner-ups, WBA Coach of the Year.

2005-7: Director/Head Coach of Summer Hill Blue Devils, members of NEAA and SEBL Independent Conference, finished with 23-10 record, #8 ranking in NEAA SE Rankings and #12 finish in NEAA National Rankings. Also, Head Coach of Cartersville Baseline SEBL Independent Semi-pro team, finished with 21-7 regular season record and 41-15 overall.

2003-5: Deputy Commissioner of the World Basketball Assocation (WBA) and served as special marketing consultant and liason for Rome Gladiators.

2004: Director of Operations/Asst. Coach of the Rome Gladiators. Instrumental in the founding and establishment of the Rome Gladiators WBA professional basketball team.

1999-2005: Head Coach of the Cartersville Baseline SEBL Independent Semi-pro team. Commissioner of SEBL Independent and Summer Pro Leagues.

1990-1999: Director/Commissioner of Eddie Lee Wilkins Summer Pro Am League and Future Stars Youth Summer Leagues (Ages 8-20).

Archer also serves as Director of The Human Race, Inc, a Georgia 501(c)3 Non-profit organization, which operates the SEBL Summer League, the Summer Hill Post Grad Athletic Program, along with other community-based efforts. Through Baseline Sports Management, he also represented selected pro basketball players and has provided play-by-play announcing on radio, internet and television for high school, summer league, college and pro sports in the North Georgia area. He has announced the WBA Championship Game (2005), Kennesaw State and Clayton State University Basketball games and high school sports for all Bartow County area schools.
