Jeff Hartman
Head Coach
240-236-5409
This is Jeff Hartman's 7th year as a Head Coach in the Frederick - Washington County area, and his 6th year as the Head Coach of the Railroaders of Brunswick High School.
Hartman is a native of Wheeling, WV where he lettered in both Baseball and Golf at Wheeling Central Catholic High School.
A Shepherd University Graduate ('05), Hartman was the Shepherd Lacrosse Club President for 3 years as well as the Captain of the team for 2 years. He was a starting Midfielder and helped Shepherd to its best record in the program's history as a Junior.
Hartman, who currently resides in Hagerstown, MD with his wife Nicole, son William, and daughter Savannah, teaches Physical Education and Health Education at Brunswick Middle School.
He began his coaching career at North Hagerstown High School, but when offered the vacant Lacrosse position at Brunswick High School, he saw it as an opportunity to further his coaching career. Hartman has led the Railroaders to their first playoff victory in over 3 years by defeating Catoctin in First Round Playoff action in 2007. In 2010, Hartman led the Roaders to the most wins in school history with a record of 12-4 as the team advanced to the regional quarterfinals. With a 9-7 record last year, Hartman has led the Railroaders to back to back winning seasons for the first time in school history.
With a strong number of returning starters and young talent, Hartman feels confident that the Brunswick High School Lacrosse Program will be a force to be reckoned with in the 2012 campaign.
