League President

The BLL League President shall:

● Conduct affairs of the League
● Execute the policies established by the Board of Directors
● Communicate to the Board of Directors such matters appropriate and make suggestions as may tend to promote the welfare of the League.
● Be responsible for the conduct of the League in strict conformity to the policies, principles, Rules and Regulations of Little League International as agreed to under the conditions of charter issued to the League by that organization.
● Designate in writing, if necessary, to the officers to have power to negotiate in the name f the League contracts and leases they may receive, and which have had prior approval of the Board.
● Investigate complaints, irregularities, and conditions detrimental to the League and report them to the Board of Directors as circumstances warrant.
● Prepare and submit an annual budget with the assistance of the BLL Treasurer to the Board and is responsible for the proper execution thereof.
● Examine with assistance of the Executive Vice President and the Director of Baseball, the application and support proof-of age documentation of every player candidate and certify residency and age eligibility before the player may be accepted for tournament play (All Stars).
● Examine with the assistance of the Executive Vice President and Director of Baseball, the candidates for Team Managers and Coaches in the League.
● Review and approve committee chairperson for final Board of Director approval.
● Provide to the Board of Directors a list of all managers, Coaches and Player Agents approved by the President, ratification by the Board
● Appoint Committee Chairpersons
