Director of Baseball

BLL Director of Baseball shall:

● Report into the Executive Vice President
● Record all player transactions and maintain an accurate and up-to-date record thereof.
● Receive and review applications for player candidates and assist the BLL League President and Executive Vice President in verifying residence and age eligibility.
● Oversee tryouts with the assistance of Division Player Agents.
● Conduct player draft and all other player transaction or selection meetings
● Prepare a list of players eligible for the Division drafts.
● Prepare and/or assist in the documentation preparation for submittal to Little League International (team rosters, players? claims, etc.) and tournament team eligibility affidavits.
● Prepare and/or assist of all regular season and playoff game schedules for the League in coordination with Division Player Agents.
● Interview applicants for Player Agent Positions, make recommendations to the BLL President and Executive Vice President for Player Agents.
● Responsible for managing All Star Affidavit process
● Responsible for enforcing game rules and oversees game rule changes.
● Manage player and parent issue escalations.

Duties:

● Be responsible for the activities of all Division Player Agents
● Be responsible for the activities of the Director of Player Development
● Be responsible for the activities of the Baseball Operations Officer
