Coach Gunderson is a Social Studies teacher at Proctor High School and has coached a number of sports in the Proctor community and at Proctor High School. Coach Gunderson played football in high school and at the community college level. Coach Gunderson also played hockey and ran track at Central High School in Duluth. He was the Head Boys hockey coach for a number of years and is also currently the varsity assistant for the Mirage where he won assistant coach of the year. Coach Gunderson graduated from UW - Superior and holds a Master's degree as well from UW - Superior in Education. Coach Gunderson has also been involved in youth coaching in the Proctor community in baseball and hockey.
