Chad Amos

Head Wrestling Coach

Coach Amos is entering his 6th year as the Head Wrestling Coach here at South Stokes. He is currently a PE Teacher at South Stokes.

Chad graduated from South Stokes High School in 1990 where he was on the football, wrestling, and baseball teams. After high school, Chad joined the Army where he also wrestled. He then graduated from Winston-Salem State University in 2001 with a B.S. in Physical Education.

Chad is beginning his 24th season as a wrestling coach. He previously coached at McMichael (Assistant), West Stokes (Assistant & Head Coach), Lancaster, SC (Head Coach), North Stokes (Head Coach), and South Stokes (Assistant Coach).

Coach Amos and his wife, Harriet, have been married for 15 years. They have 2 daughters, Rebecca (11) and Olivia (10), and one son, Luke (8).
