Coach Brooks is the Founder and Basketball Director of the San Jose Thunderbirds AAU Basketball Club. He has over 20 years of coaching and mentoring experience from soccer to baseball, with basketball being his passion. He has coached at Liberty Baptist School in San Jose; as well as Branham HS, CT English & SV Stars. He's coached NJB All-Net teams for Coyote Creek and Los Gatos. He also heads up the after school basketball program at 2 Stratford campuses (Los Gatos and San Anselmo).

Why I love to coach:

It is a privilege being able to coach student-athletes of tomorrow; While teaching the game of basketball, and helping them develop, with determination and focus being a catalyst.

I have been fortunate to be involved with youth sports, and believe athletics play a tremendous role in developing young athletes on and off the court. Winning is important, but so are character, integrity, teamwork, and discipline. It is our goal, to develop student-athletes with a balanced perspective in mind.
