Chris Cummings is a veteran Maryland youth baseball coach. He played baseball for Eisenhower College (1980-1982) and Rochester Institute of Technology (1983-1984) where he was a pitcher. Coach Cummings works principally as RBI pitching and bullpen coach. He mentors and trains the team's pitchers. He advises the manager on the condition of pitchers and their arms, manages the rotation, and serves as in-game coach for the pitcher currently on the mound. He manages and directs the battery. In addition, Coach Cummings serves as batting practice pitcher, base coach, outfield instructor, infield instructor, and baserunning instructor.

In 2016, he was named head coach of Spain's Sant Boi Barcelona Falcons summer collegiate league team in the Collegiate Baseball League in Europe (CBLE).
