Catherine Sumner
"Cat the Hockey Girl" started her love-affair with minor league hockey in 1997 at the age of 19. She was first part of the stats team in the ECHL, and then later made her way into the New Orleans mainstream media. Cat was crowned Miss Louisiana Sugar Queen in 1997, complete with her arm in a sling from getting boarded two days earlier in a co-ed hockey game.
In 2003, she became part of the wonderment known as the US Sports Coaches Show.
