Coach Akon's accomplishments include:

Graduate of Farragut High in Chicago, Ill

Graduate of Malcolm X Jr College in Chicago, Ill
While attending and playing basketball at Malcolm X was recruited and granted athletic scholarship to attend the University of Akron.

Played final 2 seasons of basketball at University of Akron, earning membership into the schools Lettermens Club. Recieved Associate Degree in Law Enforcement, and Bachelor Degree in Secondary Technical Education.

2008 - Present
Recreation Specialist at Ed Davis Community Center. Responsible for coordinating and directing many of the recreational activities at the center, including the Tiny Tots Basketball Program, the Youth Basketball Program, Summer Camp Program,and Ladies First Akron Inc.
