President

-President is the chairman of the Board of Directors and the chief administrative officer of the organization. He/She presides at all meetings of the Board of Directors.
-Selects all committee chairmen and assigns projects to appropriate committees, subject to the approval of the membership. (Ex. Registration, Opening Day, Field Day, Web Site Maintenance, SLHS Scholarship)
-He/She speaks on behalf of the organization whenever a matter is raised and requires presentation of the organization’s point of view, as authorized by approval of the Board of Directors. (Ex. Town meetings, Cal Ripken meetings)
-the President shall be one of the contact and sign-off persons for the PO and Requisition process.
-submit nominations for all appointed officers to the BOD for approval
-responsible for submitting all CORI requests for HYB volunteers/coaches to Criminal History Systems Board (CHSB) unless BOD appoints a member to oversee this duty.
-the President is one of the thirteen (13) members of the Board of Directors.
