Treasurer

-The Treasurer is the official custodian of the funds of the organization. He/she is also the disbursing officer. He/she is responsible for collecting money due the organization and for its safekeeping.
-He/She must keep an accurate record of all funds collected and be able to furnish a statement at any time showing the financial condition of the organization.
-As disbursing officer, he/she is responsible for checking all bills and vouchers which are presented for payment and for issuing checks to cover them. He/she must keep an accurate record of all disbursements.
-The Treasurer should give a brief report or summary at each meeting, and a complete report annually.
-The Treasurer shall be one of the contact and sign-off persons for the PO and Requisition process.
-the Treasurer’s books should be audited annually by a committee
-the Treasurer is one of the thirteen (13) members of the Board of Directors
