Dalton was a graduate from Wilmington High School, and is currently attending St. Anselm College where he is a member of the Club Hockey Team
He currently helped coach the Wilmington JV Team and currently has a 9-0 record.
He also played hockey for 4 years at Wilmington High.
He had 27 goals and 31 assists with 58 points
Dalton was the lone captain of the Wildcats where they were crowned the 2012 D2 State Champions for the first time in school and program history
Dalton's biggest game was in the 2012 D2 North Sectional where he had the game winning goal over Winthrop with just over 2 minutes to play in the game that lifted the wildcats to advance to the state championship
Dalton then lead the team to the state title with a 3-2 win over Franklin
Dalton was named the student athlete with the most dedication to Wilmington sports in 2012 and received the coaches award
He also played golf for Wilmington High where he was captain in 2012
