Ryan McDougald has 10 years Youth basketball coaching experience. Ryan grew up in the San Fernando Valley and as a youth played Travel basketball for 4 years with the Northridge Knights & ARC. He began his coaching at the North Valley YMCA in 2006 before transitioning over to coach Travel Basketball. His experience includes a wide range of ages including very small children to high school age. He is also the JV Head coach at Arleta High School. His philosophy is teaching fundamentals and believing in a child’s ability and potential to succeed on the court until they believe in their own ability as a player. He is a certified I-Hoops coach.
