Hello, I am Shunta' Johnson, Director for Harrowgate Heat Basketball. As a mother of athletic boys, sports is a huge part of our lives. As the football season died down and the Harrowgate Athletic Association started to make some new positive changes I asked why don't we have basketball in the Harrowgate community? I was told feel free to put it together, so the HARROWGATE HEAT was born! We set a goal of acquiring 48 kids to have 4 teams and we have surpassed those numbers!

I want to offer a place for boys and eventually girls to have fun playing basketball in a positive environment as well as have it organized for the parents. And of course I want to bring Harowgate home a few championship trophies!


We are looking forward to an awesome inaugural season as the HARROWGATE HEAT!!
