Cody Butler

Varsity Assistant Coach

Coach Butler is entering his fifth year of coaching and his second year at MacArthur High School. He also coaches football and is a special education inclusion teacher.
Coach Butler graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.
Coach Butler is from Woodville, Texas where he did not have a pop-warner football league growing up, so the only option available was little league baseball. He continued to play throughout high school and after graduating college decided the best way to stay close to the game was to begin his career as a coach and teach others more about the game he loves. Coach Butler is extremely excited for the upcoming 2020 season.
Coach Butler is married to his wife Chelsi (who he has known since the 5th grade) and they have one daughter, Lilley.
