The Brunson League was founded by Morgan State graduate Sean Brunson in 2013. Mr. Brunson created the league with the vision of having a basketball league for young men in the state of Maryland to continue to play basketball at a high level after completing high school or college (and still in college) while still building friendships and learning life lessons through basketball.

The goal of the Brunson League is to provide its athletes with a completely unique experience never seen before in community sports leagues and only rivaled by professional sports leagues. The league aspires to continue growing until it is similar to the legendary Drew League in Los Angeles and the Goodman League in Washington, DC attracting the toughest mixture of competition featuring streetball legends, collegiate athletes, and professional ball players.
