Ben Starr has lived in CT for most of his life (growing up in Torrington and Mystic) and has lived in Winsted, CT since 2010. He has been involved in Winsted Youth Sports since 2017 coaching soccer, baseball, and football (NH Wolverines). He works for a global manufacturer in New Hartford, CT and joined WYBA in early 2023 after attending a board meeting.

Ben has a bachelor's degree in Outdoor Recreation Managment from Clark Summit University and an MBA in Leadership from Post University. He has been coaching and mentoring youth in athletics for over 20 years and has a passion to see youth athletes grow and succeed in sport and more importantly life.
