My name is Dakota Smith. I have lived here in canton my entire life. I played football here from 1st through 11th grade on offensive and defensive line. I graduated in 2018 and I started coaching youth football in 2020. I love teaching the kids, I have none of my own yet but, I pride myself on the relationships I make with the kids to help them build confidence so that they will be the best version of themselves on and off the field.
I am still young in my time coaching but I plan on being here a very long time. I have people behind me that respect and believe in what I can do. I believe that this organization has the right positive mindset to pass along good habits to the kids of our community. I will also be serving as equipment manager. It will be my job to make sure ALL of the kids are suited out with equipment that fits and will allow them to play this game safely. I take that job very seriously and I am looking forward to the new season.
