GAMES SATURDAY AT RICE ELEMENTARY
MODIFIED HALF COURT PRESS RULES TO BE INSTITUTED THIS SEASON. More information forthcoming.
This division is for 3rd and 4th grade girls. There will be a separate league for girls. Each team will be formed through the draft process.
Each team will have a one hour practice once a week along with games on Saturdays. This recreational league incorporates a playtime rule; all participants will play at least half of the first half and the second half. Participants will play in approximately 8 scheduled games.
This league plays with a modified ball (28.5) and the basketball goal is 9ft. Games will have one PIAA referee and one youth referee. Standings are NOT kept.
A blind draw double elimination tournament will be conducted at the conclusion of the regular season with the finals held during the Classic.
