The 12U division is intended for players that are "Little League age 11" during the current calendar year. Also, "Little League age 10" players that were drafted to a "majors" or "A-Ball" division (this year or prior) can play in the 12U division at the local league's discretion. "Little League age 10" players that have played 2 years of "majors" or "A-Ball" MUST play in the 12U division.
Players that are "Little League age 12" are encouraged to play up in transitional (50/70) or "big field" leagues that will help them prepare for next spring. *EXCEPTION: "Little League age 12" players that have only played one season of "majors" or "A-Ball" may play in the 12U division at the local league's discretion.
