Girls 14 & under - instructional, semi-competitive, fastpitch softball.
The Minor League plays per ASA rules with the following instructional exceptions.
1. Stealing
Runner cannot leave base until the ball passes the batter.
Runner is only allowed one base per pitch (including home).
2. Pitching
PIAA pitching rules are in effect.
The dropped third strike is in effect.
3. Batting
The 10 batter rule per inning is in effect.
Face gaurds must be worn on batting helmets.
4. Must play Rule
All eligible roster players present at the game shall play a
minimum of 6 outs in the field and bat at least once.
(The must play rule is halted for the run ahead rule per ASA)
12 - 15 game regular season schedule begining in June and running through the middle of July.
Playoffs - will be a single game elimination with all teams making the playoffs. The top 2 division standing teams will get a 1st round bye. The Championship sereis will be a best 2 out of 3 games.
