PARENT/GUARDIAN #1

PARENT/GUARDIAN #2

PARENTS AND PLAYER COMMITMENT AGREEMENT:

The Angels Elite- Bragg Softball team will require a very high level of commitment. Girls are expected to attend practice on a regular basis and participate in regularly scheduled games. Tournaments are an integral part of this program and girls are required to attend. This is a commitment made not only by the girls, but by the parents as well, because it is your responsibility to see that your daughter is present. If you are unable to make this type of commitment, your daughter should not participate in these tryouts. Payments for player fess are non-refundable after a commitment has been made to our organization. Your signatures below confirm your willingness to agree to this type of commitment as well as adhere to the team expectations listed below should you be offered and accept a position.

Expectations:

• A positive attitude and team chemistry are critical to the success of our program.
• Players are expected to maintain a 3.0 GPA. Academic performance should be at a B level at all times. Please notify our head coach if we can partner with any family to help or encourage academic performance.
• Players are required to improve their softball skills by attending camps, clinics and/or private lessons for their positions during the season and the off season.
• Players/parents wishing to discuss an individual situation may approach the coach after practices or at another time. Their situations will NOT be discussed prior to or during a game/practice or immediately following a game. There is a minimum 24 hour “cooling off” period for such discussions.

Practices:

• Players are expected to be on time to stretch and warm up.
• We understand that conflicts and emergencies happen. Coaches should be notified as soon as possible for any conflicts.
• No cell phones are allowed during practice. They must be turned off and stored prior to warming up.
• If injured you will still be required to attend practices unless otherwise discussed and approved by the coaches.
• Pick up the dugout and prep the field after practices.

Dress Code

• Softball Pants are mandatory for all field practices

• Metal Cleats are recommended for all dirt field practices and games

Tournaments/Games

• Players should hydrate and eat appropriately prior to tournaments/games.

Code of Conduct:

• We expect our families to behave in a manner that sets a high standard and example of sportsmanship.
• We welcome any parent to assist our coaching staff, during warm ups, batting practices, drill work, and practice. You will be asked to help all of our students not simply your child.
• During a game, we will ask all parents to refrain from “Coaching from the stands” Very often what you want your child doing, contradicts what we want our players doing. Please allow our coaches to coach.
• Please avoid the dugout area during a game. You would never barge into your student’s classroom unannounced. We simply ask that during competition you allow your student to be a contributor to our softball team.
• We encourage every parent to cheer for their player, but we also wish for all families to support our entire team.
• All too often calls by an umpire are made in which there is disagreement, and even anger. Once any official or umpire has made a call during a game, at that time the call is final. There is a process and procedure to protest calls and during or immediately after the game is not that time. Any member of our player gallery behaving in a manner deemed to be disrespectful to an umpire, opposing team, or opposing coach you will be asked to leave.
• Vulgar or offensive language will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave the field or playing area.
• Physical altercations, fighting, any behavior deemed to be inappropriate by our coaching staff, you will be asked to leave the field or playing area.

Fees:

• Each player will be required to pay a monthly fee to participate.
• All monthly fees are due by the 15th of each month or a $25 late fee will be assessed.
• All financial transactions are final.
• A player who leaves the organization for any reason will not receive any type of refund.
• The first payment made to the organization will include 1 uniform Jersey and a helmet.
• All helmets purchased belong to the organization and are subject to be returned to the head coach upon request.

Player Release:

It is our goal to provide outstanding athletic competition for your student throughout the softball season. This requires a high level of commitment and participation from every player and every family that chooses Angels Elite as their softball team. Participation from your student and family is voluntary. Any student may resign their position at any time if they feel the commitment or sacrifice is too great. With this in mind it is our commitment to our students and families that we select the most committed and hardest working players available. It will become necessary to dismiss a player if there is a low participation level at either practices or events.

All players and their parents or guardians accept all risk, including but not limited to injury, associated with playing on the Angels Elite Bragg Softball team at this level. The players and their parents or guardians are aware of all these risks.

Parents/Guardians must make sure that their daughter’s physical health is approved by a doctor for highly competitive softball. The players and their parents/guardians agree that the coaches and other members of the Angels Fastpitch Organization will not be liable for anything resulting from participation with the Angels Elite Bragg Softball team at these try-outs or during the 2016-2017 season.
