Code of Ethics—As a coach I will provide the most positive and rewarding baseball experience possible for each player and try to maximize each player’s skill development and knowledge of the game of baseball. I will help players to achieve a greater level of self respect and sportsmanship, whether in winning or losing. I will conduct myself on and off the field in a manner that sets an example for the players. I will not participate in any inappropriate actions including, but not limited to, the use of tobacco, alcohol, drugs, poor sportsmanship, inappropriate language, physical contact or verbal abuse of players or umpires, or any other actions or behavior determined to be injurious or hostile to the interests of the Gladstone Junior Baseball Association.

In order to protect the children in our care, Gladstone Junior Baseball Association conducts a background check on all coaches and volunteers. Checking the box below and submitting this application authorizes Gladstone Junior Baseball Association and Criminal Information Services, Inc. to obtain information about you (if applicable) from various law enforcement agencies, courts, and correction agencies.
