The H.I.L.L. Youth Basketball League has a zero tolerance policy for any coach or assistant coach in violation of anything pertaining to this matter.

The H.I.L.L.Youth Basketball League has implemented a plan of supervision that monitors its coaches in day to day relationships with their players. It has advised its coaches the following:

1. Never be alone with a player (other than your own) when they are unobservable by others. This includes when a coach is transporting players. A coach should never be in any one on one situation in the coach’s
vehicle with a player who is not the coach’s son or daughter.

2. Never leave a child unsupervised.

3. Coaches should always use positive techniques of behavior management and never resort to physical or emotional forms of disciplinary action.

4. Treat each player equally, with respect and consideration.

5. Coaches will not use profanity, inappropriate jokes, or share any intimate information with children, parents, volunteers, or other coaches.

6. Coaches should try to never release children to anyone other than their parent or guardian.
7. Coaches must report any violation to this Code of Conduct to a H.I.L.L. Youth Basketball Staff Member immediately.

8. For travel team coaches, never share any living quarters with a player who is not related to the coach, regardless of the number of people sharing the room.

I have read this Code of Conduct in its entirety and agree to abide by all rules contained herein.
