Novi Heat Tryout Registration 2025


NOTICE: Private Tryouts may be honored by exception only. Please document the reason why player cannot attend tryouts, and reach out to the coach(s) for that age division to arrange a time separately. Private tryouts are not guaranteed and based on the availability of the coach and fields.
LIABILITY WAIVER TO PARTICIPATE IN NOVI YOUTH BASEBALL LEAGUE

I/We, hereby give my/our approval to our child to participate in any and all activities related to the Novi Youth Baseball League, including transportation to and from the activities. I/We know that participation in baseball activities may result in serious injuries and protective equipment does not prevent all injuries to players, and do hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify, and agree to hold harmless the organizers, sponsors, supervisors, participants, and persons transporting my/our child to and from activities from any claim arising out of any injury to my/our child whether the result of negligence or for any other cause. Severability - If any provision of this Liability Waiver shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this Liability Waiver and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK. I acknowledge and agree that Participant’s participation in the Activities may result in serious injury, including death, and that protective equipment does not prevent all injuries to Participant, even when utilized properly, and do hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify, and agree to hold harmless NYBL, as well as any individuals transporting Participant to or from NYBL Activities, from any claim arising out of any injury to my/our child or myself whether the result of negligence or for any other cause. This acknowledgement and assumption of risk applies to both physical injury as well as any illness or disease which Participant may contract during the Activities, including but not limited to MRSA, influenza or COVID-19.

I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SUBMITTING/SIGNING IT, INCLUDING THE RIGHTS OF MY PARTICIPATING CHILD, AND I HAVE SUBMITTED/SIGNED IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT, ASSURANCE, OR GUARANTEE BEING MADE TO ME, AND I INTEND MY SUBMISSION/SIGNATURE TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW. I further agree that no oral representations, statements or inducements, apart from the foregoing written agreement, have been made.
