Player Code of Conduct

Each player participating in a Weston Hawks Travel Baseball activity, whether a game or practice is expected to comply with the rules of the Weston Hawks Travel Baseball Player Code of Conduct as listed below.
1.) Know and abide by the rules of the game and give 100% of my attention, commitment, and effort to our team, and therefore to our team goals

2.) Arrive at the field ready to perform, and demonstrate the willingness to learn and to play together as one team

3.) Treat my coaches and teammates and other players in the league with respect and dignity in all situations on the field and off the field before, during, and after games

4.) Display positive encouragement with teammates and refrain from being critical of their mistakes while on the field

5.) Respect the umpire, and refrain from addressing them or commenting on their decisions during the play of the game

6.) Demonstrate good sportsmanship and behavior before, during and after games, being humble and generous in victory, proud and courteous in defeat

7.) Display good behavior and refrain from audible or visible reactions to making an out or committing an error

8.) Follow all field and facility rules and regulations, be responsible for your own equipment and respect at all times the property of others

9.) Realize, accept and practice the principle that the overall quality of the Weston Hawks Travel Baseball team is not only judged by the team’s playing ability but also by the sportsmanship, courtesy and manner each individual player displays on the field

10.) Always remember the game is meant to be enjoyable

I agree to abide by the Weston Hawks Travel Baseball Player Code of Conduct whenever participating in a Weston Hawks Travel Baseball activity. I and my parent (or legal guardian) Acknowledge that failure to follow the Player Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, which may include suspension or expulsion from Weston Hawks Travel Baseball.
