| Hey there Tim (and everybody for that matter),
The batting cages in North St. Paul are called Triple Crown Batting Cages. As "fighting" said, it's located near North St. Paul High School just off of Hwy. 36 and McKnight road (the northeast corner). Also close to McKnight athletic complex and the legion/high school baseball field.
The cost at Triple Crown is $1.25 per round and that will get you 18 pitches. Or for $5, you get 5 rounds. We also have a 2/1 where if you bring in a canned food/non-perishable food item for the food shelf. Bring in however many you want, no cutoff!
Also, we have Hitters Club Cards that for $25, will get you 30 rounds of hitting. And for $50, 60 rounds of hitting. These are punch cards that you hold onto and bring in everytime you visit. Good for all year-round, no expiration.
For baseball, there is 3 different cages (w/ 3 different speeds). 40 mph, 55 mph, and 75mph. But just a reminder to you, that 75 mph is what the machine is set at. Being the machine is only about 55 ft. from the plate, it's coming at you a bit quicker than the 75mph indicated. Besides, most of us in the St. Paul/Skyline league should be spending more time in the 40 mph so we can all learn how to hit a changeup vs. a fastball!
Anyway, hope that helps you or ANYONE that feels like getting those cobwebs off their bats that you know you threw in the garage or basement and haven't looked or picked them up since August of last year.
Shoot me a call if you feel as well, 651-214-7489. I'll be glad to set you up with a couple free rounds of hitting on your next visit.
Take care and see you on the diamond in '06.
