I don't know how many times this was gone over in ALL of the league meetings, but I'll go over it one last time.

The league rules that were passed out at the beginning of the season CLEARLY state that any balls that are altered, are not eligible and the team using those balls can be ejected from the league.

I'm saying this again. I have talked/am talking with all of the umpires. If a ball is thrown in and the opposing pitcher feels it's frozen or has been frozen/kept on ice, it will go to the umpires. If they feel that it has been altered, both games are forfeits for the team that has the altered ball. More than likely, that team and ALL OF THE PLAYERS on that team, will be out of the league for the rest of the summer league. They will not be able to get on with another team. The captain will be out of ALL summer leagues. Co-Ed, Church and Mens.

This is the final warning guys. It really sucks that people would think to put myself and the other league officials in this position. With all the time that the guys volunteering to run the league invest, it's absolute shit that people do this.

If you play on a team, please make sure that your manager reads this. Call them and tell them to read it or print it and give it to them.

"I didn't know" will not be an excuse.

If you have any questions, please ask.

Dan
