As we all know by reading the 3,000 other posts who the great hitters are in the league. However, everyone forgets the little guys on the team that get on base for the big bats. The guys that can hit, field, run and are all around good ballplayers. We have a couple on our team (JR'S.) Paulie H, Mac. See these guys need some credit to not just the guys that hit the homeruns.

Gotta give props to one of my Baxter's teammates again. Tommy Mahoney has been all but carrying our team this season. Can't remember him making an error in the outfield this season, he's second in our team in batting average, third in homeruns, and hit three triples 2 weeks ago with his leg taped up from an injury. He does all this with zero ego. Now if we just had 9 more of him. Well, 8 cause I still wanna play.

Now thats what Im talking about, players without egos. Without these guys teams would fall apart, they do whatever is necessary to help the team.

Jay Johnstone (VFW) not sure if any of you know this guy but hes the kind of guy that never says a word even on a horrible call and ALWAYS comes to play. He's a solid ballplayer and a big reason why VFW's future looks bright. Also, Sean Lucowicz (sorry i butchered that spelling bro) is a great young ballplayer with a cannon for an arm, a good swing that is evolving into a great swing pretty quickly and the kid comes to play every game and gives nothing but 100%.

The Village Pub has some great guys on the team who I would have to say are the heart and soul of the team.
Brian Vierra is a guy who didn't start at the beginning of the year and always was the first to coach a base or shag a ball in the woods, but when his time came he always performed and literally hit and fielded his way into the starting lineup and now is one guy that we cannot do without. He never complained about sitting, and always was the first to cheer for one of his teammates, just a great attitude and a pleasure to have on the team, never gets down or has anything bad to say about anyone.
Jay Johansen is all out hustle and puts everything on the line everytime he steps on the field, and again has absolutely no ego to speak of whatsoever. Jay, literally ran into a burning apartment building and rescued everyone living in the complex that night, and continued to go back in until everyone was safely out including a small child and a woman that he carried out from the second floor after having to crawl up the stairs to avoid the smoke and fire. He is a real life hero and always downplays it. This is a guy I want in a Foxhole with me when the shit hits the fan.
Howard and Costello, both great ball players and carry the team in many instances, both have great attitudes and are simply there to have a good time. They could easily talk smack about the rest of us when we don't play up to their level (which is impossible) but you will never hear a bad word from either one of them.

Jay Johnstone has been good since little league and is a class act to boot. Lucowiz wishes he was still in Florida with me and Kevin Clarke don't believe me ask him. Eddie Mac from CM refuses to get older, man can he play. John Kerwin for PNA is a welcomed addition.

Rosies underrated players: Justin Dugas, great with the glove at first, Burns at short, and Scambio in left field, both key contributors.

Thanks EW33 and tommyc for your kind words, the feeling is mutual. I love my Sunday morning softball and really look forward to playing every week (or at least the weeks artirkarate doesn't forfeit) :)

I had Lucowitz (pardon the spelling) laid in Florida! Lock down sure thing and I even took the ugly one. But he wanted to go back to the hotel with Stoney. Some wingman you are. FAG!

Alot of underrated players in this league. Right now there are some new guys that no one knows that well yet. And some of the younger guys on teams like Europa are improving. Some of the stiffs on the VFW are making a name for themselves like that fag Lukowitz, that other fag Fernandes, and Johnstone.
