| Need to get calefaction on a rule? If you would like to see a rule changed, removed or added, this is the place to talk about it.

| I would luv to see us go with the Atak passing used in the NHFL. I would also like to use the action box used in LAEFL & DFW.
That passing method gives the defense a chance to break on the ball and receiver. I would not be against an extra stop to pivot players either. Like a quick on/off to simulate the snap, then one more to make a decision.

| P-l-e-a-s-e ... we don't need NHFL style ATTAC passing in the NEFL! Who wants a "double catch" passing system when "stop-n-pop" is far simpler and takes less time? You hit the receiver, or if you hit a defender it's an interception. Simple. Not so with ATTAC. And by "double catch" I mean after you hit the ATTAC spinner/target, your WR or RB has to hit the spinner/post when the target itself is removed. Not easy by any stretch since the receiver often misses the post! AND, he has to do it before the 'D' can hit it or it's an interception. But if your guy hits it first, it's a catch. If nobody hits it, the pass is incomplete.
But this is the real point assuming you've already hit the ATTAC spinner/target, THIS fact alone should constitute a catch. If the 'D' is out of position to make a play on the ball, that shouldn't be your problem! But the NHFL set up this whole post-catch scenario and, BTW, there's even a pass interference rule that if the receiver is "bumped" by a defender outside of 1 base length away from the spinner/post, it's a defensive penalty. Inside 1 base length it's "incidental contact."
I played in the NHFL for 4 seasons and there are other EF coaches who've agreed with me - it's just real difficult, even with lots of practice, and makes the passing game much harder.
Please! ... ATTAC passing is worse than Chinese water torture. I'd rather sit in a room with Gilbert Godfrey for an hour listening to his scratchy, screechy voice than do ATTAC passing again!
