Well another season that could've should've been. This season was akward and actually can be classified as two different seasons. The Rams started out thier first few games with Laswelll lookin like the star he can be but played like a Freshemn some games which unless you're Michael Jordan or some high profile superstar basketball player it will happen. The season started off well but when The rams lost to West Washington I thought that's where the season turned. I thinkif they beat West Washington there's more games The Rams would've won or could've won. Then just before the start of the second half of the season Drew White transfers in. Maybe I was lookin for more from him than what he could do but I thought he would dominate the game and opponents. As I look back and as I watched him you could see things hwere he could dominate but too me he's like a Gilbert Arenas type scorer of when he's on he's on and when he's off he's off. IO think what seperates this teams along with the more recent Paoli teams is the fact that they don't have the player or players who you can look at and pointt o them and say..."You give mne 25...you give me 13...you give me 10...you give me 11 boards...you give me 8 boards..etc." And like the coach said that basketball smart just isn't there right now. It's really the little things that come with being basketball smart rather than the big things. Like the tip drill if someone beats you or is unaware come up and tip the ball away from behind. Knowing how to defend a player one on one compared to defending them in a zone. Boxing out a player or 3 and knowing positioning on the floor. Or on offense knowing what to do if a play breaks down. Creating your own shot when you can't find a teammate, taking smart shots instead of bad ones. Knowing the offense where you know what plan C or D is if Plan A or B isn't there. Just the little things like that. Just a little example is let's say a player for The Rams has the ball and they are at the elbow or the 3-point arc or beyond the 3-point arc somehwere. And a defenders comes over to help double team well instead of your teammate cutting to the basket for a layup and you passing them the ball. Some of the Rams koayers would try to split the double team or reverse pass it which makes little sense. Just one last thing before i'm out is The Rams have to grab a set and start rebounding like hell. When teams get numerous offensive tips, or or putbacks..or whatever that means they are crashing the boards harder and are more aggressive. If you get position and keep the ball alive or whatever they may come over the back. They badly in the offseason need to learn to rebound better and they will iwn more games and bring home a sectional.

I'm Out
