| If you interpret the standings correctly you could come up with a few shocking eye-opener so far in 07. Teams on a downward path are the Bisons, Plumbers, Jakes and Angus. On the way to the top are Travel Lovers, Crupi and MAS.

| After getting our lunch handed to us by the Wild Wingers last night I would put my money on them as the team to beat. The top 2 guys in their order were hitting bb's, the guy in LF making highlight reel catches and to top it all off their leader sealing the deal with a monster in the top of the 8th.

| In past years, 25 points (.500 ball) was usually good enough to get you in the Top 10 Championship round. Based on mid-season results, it looks like 5 teams (School, W.Wing, Remax, Kelsey’s, and JIC) are a virtual lock for the Top 10. Another 2 teams (Bistro and Crupi) should make it, but have tough last halves of the season in front of them.
Assuming that these 7 fall into place, that leaves the rest of the league fighting for the last 3 championship spots. Jakes and Grocer have played sporadically well… Beesons started slow, but may yet turn it around. What do you think??
My sleeper pick is the Plumbers. They might still be able to go on a streak that would squeeze them into that final spot.
Good luck to everyone. Play hard, have fun.

| Uh, kamn, that’s a hard call as far as Kavanagh goes. Buddy, I’m trying to be polite here, but you’ve lost the last 6 of 7, you’ve had a couple of injuries to key players, and it’s a tough schedule to finish the year. When your team plays well, it’s among the league’s best, and of course, it would be amazing for your team to go on a run and get in the top 10. But realistically, the best chance is to play spoiler this year.
You’ve got a great bunch of guys. As always, the key is to keep having fun. Jim

| The lower seeded teams have gotten better now... it's going to be another close race for the top ten once again.
Harding has improved and so did the Crupi... I expect a big splash for them in the upcoming playoffs.
School, I doubt they'll be a huge impact in the playoffs... but they are a gifted team offensively with young talent.
Kelsey’s and Bisons... I have my doubts about them this year being a strong contender... who knows really...
I can't wait to see what happens in September! Going to be exciting weekend!

| Obviously the School should be playing Sunday afternoon but I'm sure everybody will be more then happy to see them out. I like Jakes as the team to beat this year. Remax should be up there but will be in tough without Jamie. WildWing has the bats but are really weak in the field with a full team. Crupi is overachieving this year and will implode soon. It will be a great race to see which teams can get in. Harding, Plumbers, Grocer, Bisons are coming on strong while Bistro, Crupi and others are dropping.

| School remains the team to beat. Every one of top four teams has a dynamic duo, but Jakes possess the most complete lineup. My wild card is Remax. Harding and Kelsey’s are superb, and have earned all the defensive attention. But if teams choose to ignore Justin Case, they will be sorry.

| Well I did catch the Wild Wing vs. Jakes game on Wednesday and if Chris consistently brings his A game on pitching, Wild Wing will go VERY far. The way he was able to mesmerize a complete team like Jakes, from the words of total, was just scary. No matter how well anybody may have seen the ball, they still swung under. Take a page from Angus Glen (who's also on fire) if you wish to beat Wild Wing. Score early, score often (if that's possible) and keep the ball in the infield.
I think Justin Case is the most laid back team in the league. They know how to control their anxiousness to get on the field and actually perform with the adrenaline flowing.
The School and Remax are still dominant, but if there's a dark horse that can knock those two off their stallions, it's Grocer. They seem like a very boisterous group of gentlemen who can heat it up in a real hurry.

| sorry hatz that i have not been around to reply to your posts. i have been down at the film festival promoting my movie called "15 men out", it is an inside look into mens recreational slopitch and how teams will do whatever thay can do to win a t shirt. like only play with 10 players and have all the excuses why all their players on their roster aren't playing. and you will know who these teams are all you have to do is count to ten (and i do not mean the mike joyce way of counting, sorry mikey joey made me say it). everyone pays, plays. this will be a great weekend, for upsets are what make playoffs fun. you never want to finish in the top 3. anyone can win on any given day. it is a weekend of endurance.
good luck to all.
my prediction is the school over wild wing 19 to 11.
ps jobber you do lead the league in one catigory, total homerun distance combined off one pitcher in one season (measured in kms) at 28. good for you, that is up from last year. keep shooting for them stars.
