Dave, after reading a few of the recent posts and witnessing some of the soccer games I believe there needs to be an extra rule enforced for yelling, cussing, etc. at the referee's. This kind of behavior from people who can't control themselves or their mouths shouldn't be tolerated. Me personally, I believe a ref should have the ability to kick a player and/or team out of the league for cussing or yelling at a referee!! The referee is the final decision on the field and shouldn't need to deal with players who can't control their mouths!!

Is it all the teams?
I see the problem being with 1 team.

Get rid of them. Before they ruin our league.

Whether it's just Dutch Passion or not it needs to be addressed and consequences need to be set for teams.

I agree with you on this issue. But you can't punish a whole team for a few players who have mouths on them. The majority of our team is pretty controlled on the field.

dpfc, I disagree with you. If you realize part of your team isn't controlled then you need to address the problem and/or remove the offending players. You do everything as a team on the field and therefore the whole team pays the price for the offending players.

I agree that there should be tougher consequences. I just started playing with a team on sundays but I have been going to see the games for awhile cause different relatives and friends play and let me tell, I'm not defending Dutch Passion but... they are not the only team out there that gets out of control. I can honestly say that every sunday that almost all of the men's teams start a fight or argue over every call. Yea, maybe Dutch Passion is hot temper but believe they are not alone. Last season one of my relatives got hit in the face and had the bruise in the eye to prove from a game with Coldewell Bankers ... rage, bad temper, foul language is a problems that all the teams have...so we all should take extra effort to try to solve it.

2luv, why did you have to drag Coldwell Banker (with no “S”) into this? Now I feel obligated to respond. Most teams have players that cause problems or at worst play “hard”, including your family member’s team. If you are going to bring up examples, bring up the complete story, I remember that game and I remember what happened and I remember the ref saying it was accidental. I also believe there is something about “those without sin, cast the first stone!” Besides show me a team that has not walked away with souvenirs of the game: a bruised eye (your family member) a separated shoulder (me), bruised ribs (our goalie), a swollen shin from repeated direct shots (our forward), bloody ankle, again from repeated direct kicks (our mid-fielder) These things happen, how you handle these things, shows your character, or lack there of.
AND why is everyone stirring up the DPFC hive before WE have to play them, thanks guys! ! ! !
They are a good team and frankly I am looking forward to playing them, to be the best, one must play the best (win or loose). Now they looking to make an example, again thanks a lot!!

Cowboy...didn't mean to upset your team. Unfortunately, it was the game and team i remember and it was not you, it was another player...but the point I wanted to make was that this is a problem that has been growing? Tempers, mouths and fists are flying and it really needs to stop before someone gets seriously hurt. I mean look at the list that Hobbes provided.
