| i agree and its not just soccer the ref's for basketball are just as bad with not knowing the rules and i sure hope they test them with some kind of oversite and yes they should explian why they called something and the ones that don't are the ones who are clueless. the way i see it is there is no oversite of the refs since it is probably hard to find people to do it they need to be paid more and then you might get some good ones to sign up till then its not going to get better

| WHY WOULD IT BE MORE THAT WOULD MAKE IT AN EXTRA 20 BUCKS A GAME WHICH WOULD BE PLENTY FOR A GOOD REF WHAT ARE THEY PAID NOW IT'S AROUND 20 PER GAME RIGHT WELL THAT WOULD DOUBLE IT. WHEN I PLAYED DOWN THE HILL THATS WHAT WE WOULD DO EVERYONE PITCHED IN A BUCK AT THE GAME AND THE REF WOULD MAKE AN EXTRA 20 BUCKS
