| I play because i truly love the game. I have also made a great deal of good friends playing this game. It keeps me in decent shape. I also love the competition.

| Jim...you're right on for the reasons you play. Too bad the rest of these "wannabes" don't play for the same reason. The league would be better off if they took their bad attitudes, their "machismo", and all their B.S. to another city.

| I play soccer for the the love of the game as well... I have played since i was a kid and i not saying i am good by any means but the adrenaline of playing the game is like no other.. Of course staying in shape to play on sundays is a motivator and i feel better now that i am playing regularly again.
Wannabes?? what do you mean??

| CptNick: A "wannabe" is someone who plays park & rec sports as though they were a professional in the NBA, MLB, etc. They generally do not exhibit good sportsmanship, use foul language, and make poor decisions which leads them to get hurt. In other words "wannabes" are people who thinks they have professional abilities and are determined to prove to their competitors they are something they aren't.
