| we have 5 teams in our division on sundays and only one team seems to think that the umps line-up card needs to be filled out according to the batting order,I was at the managers meeting when that topic was brought up ,it was my understanding that was not needed. Some people need to remember that this is only a REC LEAGUE,the other teams dont stress about the lineup card why should you???????????????

| I would like to comment on this as an Umpires point of view. Without lineup cards with the proper batter order, there is no way to check out of turn batters on an appeal or protest if it came up. Some teams don't care, others do. And even though this is a REC League, it is still competetive. It is the competetiveness that make rules like this having to be followed. SCMAFF rules stat that each manager is to turn in a lineup card in the order of batters. Just my 2 cents... grin
