TOPIC: Do people want trophies at league's end or what? |

| Sound off with what teams would like. We should be able to give stuff out for 1st - 3rd. Do people want plaques or would they rather have money or something?
I'd like to do T-Shirts, but they're hard to do because of sizing.
Everyone please sound off....

| How about paying league fees or maybe for uniform shirts for the first place team, in the next years league? Or something inexpensive for the league to save money...who knows, maybe the fees could go back down...or maybe softballs for the winning team for next year? Maybe something like that.

| Good ideas on balls. What we built into "trophies" was $1 per game or $.50 per team per game. So for instance in the Men's B league there are 6 teams. 24 games x $.50 = $12 x 6 teams = $72 allocated towards "trophy money" for that division. It's the same in all other divisions. $.50 x the amount of games your team plays x the number of teams in your division. Church would be 18 x .5 = $9 x 8 = $72 also.
thing is, to get good balls would be $60 for a dozen leaving $12 for 2nd place.
If I were to buy shirts or have them made, we have 7 different divisions in our summer league. That would be roughly 7 x 13 = 91 shirts. Could probably get them made somewhere in the vicinity of $6 a shirt. So around $550 for 1st place shirts. Co-ed has 13 teams and men's has 17 teams which all play 24 games each. So 24 (games) x $.50 = $12 x 30 = $360 + $72 for church = $432. And that's just for 1st place. Then we would still have sizing issues, I.E. running out of XL's and 4 people need them. PLUS, that would be a huge headache organizing and then handing out now that I think about everything, wow.
An easy thing to do would to do maybe $50 back to the winning team and $25 to the 2nd place team in each division.
I don't know, just trying to think of something different than plaques.

| I think that money would be good. More than likely the same teams will play in the Fall League and it could be used towards the fees for that. Just my thought......

| I dont think 50 dollars makes a big dent in league fees.
I think we just stick the way it is...I know our sponsor last yr really appreciated the plaque we won and gave them..
Maybe this yr though we could get those picture plaques where you can put the team foto in with the winning plaque..

| I think we'll ask the teams who won what they want and go from there. We'll try to stay on top of it so it gets done quickly.
