I think it was--by far--the longest & scariest 15 minutes of my life. It went from light rain to heavy rain, to wind gusts, to tree limbs flying everywhere & landing on the fence (like a huge shrub)--then loud popping noises--then a huge thud, the tree fell down on top of the stand. Al tells me not to touch anything metal, then proceeds to tell me he's going to open the large (metal) overhead door to see if his car got hit--thankfully, he did NOT open it. That was my new company car under the tree. Debris was everywhere--thanks to the players who found ways around the blocked roads to reach us & help with the cleanup. We lost power for almost 24 hours--thanks to MET ED for getting the power on in time for Wednesdays games. See what we have to go through when we decide to whether or not to cancel the games!! Thanks to Al, because without him, we would not have played Wednesday. You are the very best at what you do. We are very fortunate to play on the best groomed fields in the area.

Good Point on the "Al" deal. I play on some well groomed Fields in Jersey and Gino does a nice job on the Palmer Fields but with Al at the controls at Hackett, it is almost like a Major League game because you know it will take a hellish late day Shower or T'Storm in order to cancel the games because even if it rains at 3 or 4pm, doesn't matter, he'll have the Fields ready to go by gametime. Keep up the good work Mr. Cressman.
