| I got the Miken Recoil that is starting to loosen up and I like that. That is of course besides the Freak 100 and Synergy 2 which the ASA has banned starting next year.
You can never really go wrong with an Easton Stealth or Flex because you get a 1 year UNLIMITED return policy with them.

| I like the Miken Freak 98 but I purchased an Easton Stealth (composite) this summer. I used a similar Easton Stealth this spring and it had a lot of pop in it. The balls jumped off the bat with little effort. I think that my Easton will be a good bat once it is broken in. I've got close to 200 swings on it but it doesn't feel like it has as much pop in it as the one I used this spring. I've been told that the Easton takes longer to break in. Dan, can you or someone else shed some light on this?

| The Stealths that I had all seemed to be the same out of the wrapper. I didn't have any break in period with the Stealth's, which was a first for me. But then again, I broke 3 of them so they may have just been hot and weren't going to last as long.
Every bat is different. Some get a little more glue on them than another one and it takes longer to break in or just isn't as hot. Keep beatin on it and it should open up.
