| I'm trying to let the umpires know when I see them, so if everyone would help me, I'd appreciate it.
The mats/turf that are now on the top and bottom fields are JUST mats. They are not "batters boxes". They are not a guide to where people can start standing when batting.
SO, they are not "batters boxes" per rules/guideline terms. They are just there to give us level ground to hit off of.
