| HAHA Jeff where have you been?
Well orginally we wanted to start playing in october but the pavillion has to much going on there until january. So thats when we will start. There will be a league this year as long as everything runs as smoothly as it has so far.

| Yes we could start playing in october if we could find a building to lease that would be big enough to hold a 175 by 85 hockey court. We have ideas but this is our biggest hold back. We have a place to play at the pavillion(in january), but it would be nice to have our own building. Give us this year lets make this sucessful so we can look to move into something bigger. Tyson and I have talked about trying to find a building to have our hockey court in an also have a store up during the day that would sell hockey equpiment and other sporting equipment and also repairing equipment...like i said we have ideas.
Jeff, this is our first year trying to organize something like this. were doing our very best and have made a lot of head-way. We are working through the Marion Recreational department, and through the city to try and find sponsors. Also the SIU Coligent and Inturmual league are also working with us but we are open to suggestions and ideas or any kind of input is welcome. Tyson and I have discussed having maybe an open meeting at Waltz sometime soon to show and tell everyone whos intrested what we've done or are in the process of doing to make hockey great this year . So if anyone would like to come to this let us know so we can set up a date and work to make Hockey in Southern Illinois as great as possible. Thank you!

| Hey I just got a call from league lineup.
Would anyone be intrested in helping with a fundraiser for hockey come this fall? We'd be selling scratch cards, food, and hockey pucks with our leagues LOGO on it, let me know.

| What would be the age limit? for instance 14 yrs & older .. I know insurance is a key role.. But you guys want this stuff to work, you have to get some younger interest as well. Everything is so expensive, & you guys are really trying hard. That's awesome!! You guys need to have that meeting asap.. So you can catch some ball playeres & get those guys & gals involved!! I do think you need 2 have a way of gettin the word out about roller hockey in southern Il.Talk 2 owners of the roller rinks around so. il. & see if they will let you put flyers up & etc. Good Luck boys!!

To answer your first question, anyone under 18 has to have a parent or guardian sign in order for that person to play.
As far as marketing to a younger crowd goes we are going to be putting up flyers at the high school and also John A. We would like to post flyers anywhere that will let us and more than likely will.
Before i can go on with this meeting for people who would be intrested in playing. I need to meet with the Marion Recreational Department, and the Williamson County Pavillion. As it stands right now the Williamson County Pavillion and I need to find a good day to sit down and figure cost and the times we can get in there and play. Also we need more information on how our grant search is going from the Marion Recreation Dept. They are holding a meeting on August 13, at i think 7. Which Tyson and I have been invited to.
Once we have all the information we will hold the meeting. We want to keep people as informed as we are, and also answer any questions. We would love for ball players to attend the meeting and they are more than welcome to do so.
I will leave my information again incase anyone wants to get a hold of me on this subject.

| We are really waiting for some kind of information from the Recreational department. Once we have that we can work towards everything else but right now were kinda just waiting and its putting us at a stand still.
