Other needs can be found on there website.

I might be able to push it to November, but we would haft to take a "hoilday" break in December. Not only because the pavillion has a lot of stuff going on, but also because the SIU league wants to move there stuff over to marion if all this happens, were talking 80 additional people and most of them leave for christmas and new years. We will do everything possible to get in there earlier than January. However if we arent able to get in til January we would still be able to play until i think april or may thats 4 or 5 months of hockey, thats more than we have ever gotten before when we played outside.

Kevin, if this happens, there is one HUGE thing that we could do to greatly improve the level of hockey we'll be able to play out there.

Roll-on. It's a poly urethane paint substance that you paint the floor with. They call it roll-on because you roll it on with paint rollers. That floor up there is so slick that you're limited with what level you can actually play at. If we were to talk to them and they'd let us do it, it would make a world of difference. Call me if you want to talk about it.

It comes in any color or clear, which would be good.

Dan

I would deffiently be in intrested in that because it is slick up there. My only question is does it wash off or if i scrubed the floor the day after would it come off, or if not is it even noticeable if it were clear. Im just asking because the pavillion is going to ask me. Thanks Dan. I'll give you a call.

Yeah, you can't scrub it off. If it's clear, you won't really notice that it's down. They can do everything on it that they can now. We would just want to invest in a large dust mop and dust it before we play is all.

FOR ALL PARENTS:

I was wanting to see how many parents of young kids ages 5 through 14 would be intresting in having their kids learn the game of hockey. Were discussing doing a league night or two for young kids as well as an adult league also were talking with the SIU Colleigent team to set up a camp for kids to come in meet the players and learn the game. Hockeys a wonderful game, It teaches sportsmanship and the rewards of hard work and team work.

if intrested leave a post or call

If you guys are gonna make this happen, there has to be ROLL- ON ! Like Danny said. You will be able to start & stop faster . & cut in & out ! Get the clear coat .. so nobody at the pavillion flips out! Also start ASAP ! C dale guys & gals ? Make when they can!! Also need to have "pick-up" night to get it going. Charge to play .. to help ADVERTISING cost !! & insurance ? Good luck boys !!

yeah i competely agree with getting the roll on. We just got insurance prices yesterday and there affordable. We are incoraparating as a non profit organization and it is going to be ten times easier to get a sports grant if we set up something for the youth.

What I would like and am greatful for is the feedback. I would love to get as many thoughts on the subject as possible. What do people think about a fundrasier? maybe a golf tourney? what about maybe a fun night for kids? Maybe we could get like group tickets to a blues game or something and before the game go ice skating at the blues practice facilty. just anything to gain intrest through out the community.

Jeff&Dan,
Hey I need to set up a meeting with a couple of guys from hockey. We need through the guidelines of a non profit organziation need to elect officers.

I have also written a misson statement and our orginzations By-laws that I think would be benefical for us to go over, vote on etc.

So if we could get you guys there that would be great.

Well I know this monday is labor day. I think T Bake has to work on sunday maybe i dont know for sure. If not then sunday would work, Friday night would be hard to get people to commit to. My feeling also on sunday is people coming home from chruch wanting to watch the 1st week of football...which leads me to think maybe we could go to buffalo wild wings cause the meetings not gonna be long its just Tyson and I were gonna have us all put in ideas on what we want our mission statement to be for our orgnaziation. also to go over the apportiate price for people to play in the league we need to elect organization officers and just stuff in around that ball park. We wanted to show everyone the boards that we were going to buy what all was being done and we want input back from the people who play to make it a sucessful league. Just simple stuff but kind of important.

Jus sayn better enviorment to brainstorm in . Good luck guys..
