| As most of you know, teams put on nets. Well, at times teams come late and the game time starts with a net or 2 not set up yet. The other team is waiting and complianing because time is running. Well, we came up with this solution.
Starting Sunday, Game time still start on schedule. However, every 5 minutes that go bye and a team did not put up the net or is still in the process of, that team will start game a player short. That team will play short same as a team receiving yellow card; 3 minutes or unless other team scores.
We established this rule during ref meeting, after manager meeting. This rule will only apply to Sunday games, not Wednesday games.

| This is great and all, but I don't think we've had a game start late just because the nets weren't up. Most of the time, from my experience, the nets will be up but the officials decide when to start the game or they may not always be there on time. Another example would be that the goals are still being assembled by yourself and/or your assistant. This can sometimes delay putting up the nets. Both these examples are out of our control.
Putting up a net is no problem. From my experience it should take 1 or 2 bodies at the most to put up a net and it shouldn't take more than 5 mins. If this rule is going to be inforced, I hope that the issue of the net not being put up is the only issue delaying the start of the game. Not something else like the previous examples given.

| The reason we do this is so the game does start on time with players ready to play.
If no ref is there, thats one thing. This rule is for the few teams, men and women, that just sit around and wait for the refs to tell them to put up the net. This happened too much in the last sunday 6 vs 6 and it happens in weds. also.
Game time is the start of the clock !
