| Pub Split with Crowe bar...Crowe bar 11 Pub 10, Pub 7 Crowe Bar 3, Crowe has a great team this fall and looks very tough to beat.
Pub took two from A+ 8-3 and 14-0. More on this later in my weekly rant.

| crowe bar has some guys that would have hit it out of fenway. awesome display of hitting, as usual Ricky did a great job on both sides of the ball. Nice team great guys!!!!

| PUB vs. A+ …HUGE LETDOWN
This week’s match up between The Village Pub vs. A+ Mortgage, with all the hype and fanfaronade swirling about, was for a lack of a better word….disappointing. It had me and all the boys on the squad scratching their heads and saying: “I fucking took a day out of work for this?”
Arriving at the field we expected to be playing an “All World” class team, a team stacked to the hilt with talent much like the teams we have played every week here thus far. Teams like Jr’s /Raymond/VFW or Crowe, Bothelo’s and Farm Dog! Instead we played a team didn’t score a single run except in one inning in the first game, and was silent before and thereafter. That’s right, 12 innings of scoreless ball out of 13….YAWN!
To be quite honest, I would have rather played against my buds from the Wyld Stallions…at least the games would have been fun.
Now these are some guys that you have to love and admire. Every week they show up and play their guts out just for the fun of the game and to hang out with friends. No Shit talking coming out of them, no calling out other teams…They just show up and play hard.
I know this is not the customary Mertog rant, where I perform the verbal fellatio on my opponents team and tell everyone how great they were to play, and usually I am sincere I do enjoy playing most teams, but this was an absolute rip-off.
Mark, what the fuck were you thinking? How could that have been any better than just getting a team together next week? What irreplaceable superstars were there that wouldn’t have been the following week?
Well now that I have exacted my pound of flesh for the smack that was talked about us prior to the games, I can honestly say….there are some pretty damn good guys on A+, next time put a gag in your coaches mouth so he can’t get you guys into anymore shit, and good luck the rest of the way.

| sorry we didn't live up to the hype but our bats died. I suppose that has never happened to a softball GOD like yourself. My entire team either hits or nobody hits. | Your the fag. I never chime in but mertdog is one of the reasons coventry is one of the better leagues. Mertdog I get a chuckle reading your posts and if I was not playing for CM next year or with Lemme when I get up there in two weeks I would be back at the pub!! Don't let this ass clown get to you. I cannot wait to read what he has to say about me. Let me give you a little advice though before you go ranting off on me. Please just ank ask any team about me first before you try and call me out. I actually do know how to play the game of softball.

| This whole fuckin thing is getting blown way out of proportion. I simply wanted to try and reschedule a game. The name calling this is bullshit. You guys beat us and that is all it is. Apparently some people have nothing better to do than put bullshit up on the website. I thought this was a softball league, not a public forum for everybody to call each other fags. I enjoyed playing this weekend and thank you AGAIN for accomodating us for Sunday. Is everybody fuckin cool now?

| I must say, it is pretty funny when you talk the chit and then eat it! A+ will never live that one down. Ill bet that their superstar was pissed cause he couldnt finish his smoke while they batted or i mean when the pub fielded!lmfao I never post, but had to this time! On the one hand I miss watching your absolutely sick "moonshots", and on the other...that means I have to watch those sick moonshots from the perspective of an opposing team. Nice to have you back in Coventry bro. Jr's has a monster team this year and with you on it...I don't even want to think about that. Then you're going to play on Moulton again? Moulton will be back on top. (Yep I'm Gobblin the knob again)
