| Broadway vs 1st Baptist......
The coaches got together after 6:30. We didn't have any Umps show and couldn't find anyone that was there willing to play Ump for us. Both teams agreed not to play.... although we did use it to practice a bit.
(Not complaining ... just reporting in)

I will be getting to the bottom of why your umpire did not show up...

| No umps cause u try to use the same ones all the time and the rest says the hell with marion... Get a list of them and start there

| "UMP", I don't think that was a fair comment for fall ball. Lester called a lot of umpires and they already had their schedule filled from what he told me. I gave him a bunch of phone numbers.
I will tell you that in my 2 years organizing fall, I tried to get the local guys first and then go from there. There is not a fall umpire scheduling meeting, so it seems to be upon the league director instead of the SI Ump Assoc. to get umps.

| Crushers vs J&M Windshield....
Crushers won both games.
We too had no ump for the game, but found the bases and the scorebook in the out building. We all came to the agreement to go ahead and play the scheduled games for 8:15 and 9:15. Completed the games and replaced the scorebooks and the bases. No one was there to lock up or turn off the lights, but there was still a game in progress on field 2.
Hope it all gets sorted out soon.

| We had an ump for the MEC V VAEA Blue team.... I dont think he was happy to be there but he was there.

| And my understanding was that he was late in coming to the game.......or maybe someone called him and asked him to come. Our 815P/915P game did not get started until sometime after 915P too.
