| I just want to give everybody a heads up NEXT YEAR we will go to a 55 min time limit on all games there is no reason to stay out at the park til 11 or 1130 everynight.....also games will start at 6 7 8 9 there will be a 15 min grace period on the 6 oclock game only after that no grace period.....just wanted to let everybody know that is what i am thinking of let me know what you think about this.....

| Well, I am all for having the games start earlier...but TOTALLY against an even shorter time limit. Time limits hinder the game, and take away fun. Why not just try the earlier start times and see if that would help people.

| I agree, I think the shorter time limits would take the fun out of the game. I liked the summer league time limits... we all got out at a reasonable time, and I think it went well. The other night was a fluke, ump didn't show up till 7 or so, thats why it lasted so long.

| im fine with the earlier start time. i think shortening the game isn't the way to go. i personally think that if a game goes past the hour time limit, the next inning that will be played is the last one. (example: a six o clock game is in the 4th inning when 7 pm strikes, the fifth inning will be the last inning of the gam). that way each team still has an at bat left in order to win if needed. plus if that sticks, 8 o clock games should start relatively on time. plus ive seen in some teams in between games want to take a break or whatnot. start the second gaem right after to save some time. if you need to change your line up, get it done before you come to the game to save time. plus we all can hussel in and out a little quicker to save some time. just my thoughts.

| Sam and N T S if you have ever played any tournment softball they run them on a very tight time limit if you go out and play the game you can get all 7 innings in it just means everybody has to get the lead out of there ass and be ready to play this is not an out of the question thing to do here for this league

| Time limits take away from the game. We pay for 7 innings. Make the run rule 12 after 4 10 after 5. I like the earlier start time. do away with warm up pitches between innings. have a 5 min grace for all games on start time. Alot of tourneys have time limits but more don't. Just my $0.02

| I agree with O about not having time limits on each game. Like he said though, you could change the run rules. Also, like we talked today, give umpires more power and understanding to help move the game along. If a team is jackin around gettin on and off the field, after a warning, put the other teams batter on base. Or if guys aren't getting to the plate, just call them out after warnings.
I do not like changing the start times however. There are umps, scorekeepers and some players who work in Marion until 6pm (Marion Ford for example). I think this is why it was originally set at 6:!5 instead of 6:00. Don't know. Before my time. Good ideas though.

| O and Dan you guys know i am open to all sugestions and after Me and Dan talked today i am going to give the umpires the power for lack of a better word to keep the game moving after mine and Dan talk i think he had an idea why i was pissed about the time......so all i can say is keep the feedback coming my ears are always open for new ideas......Thanks alot

| bob no offense but you get paid decent $$ to ump 7 innings. It sucks getting out of the park late but it doesn't suck as bad as losing a game due to time limit. I agree that alot of teams take their time in between innings and that needs to stop and it sounds like it is going to. my $0.02 again
