| im all for fall league starting a bit earlier but i do not like the idea of cutting games in the summer to do it. is there any way we can start the summer league earlier? maybe middle of april? spring league is usually done by then and we can jump right in the week after spring league ends. that could solve both problems without cutting any games. just some thought.
another thing...mother nature sucks sometimes but you had to kind of expected this. you know when warm temps drop and cool weather comes there is going to be plenty of rain. so i hope no one is too shocked that it keeps raining...

| i forgot one other thing. are there any other fields available during the summer? i know little leagues play on the big fields at ray fossee park but im sure that it is not every night. getting one of those fields one or two nights a week may help with getting a few more games taken care of.

| Eric, I tried to do that 2 years ago with starting summer earlier. Problems are that a LOT of people are teachers or coaches. They are pretty busy during April. Plus, April showers bring May flowers (I know, gay) so it's usually kinda wet too.
Regarding Fosse, the only park that we could play on is the big one. All the others are way too small. If we did, we'd have to get a fence in the outfield like in Murphy. But besides that, my biggest problem is the infield. That crushed brick is a nightmare. I would rather not play at all than play on that stuff. You'd rip through pants and skin like crazy out there.
Maybe cut it from 12 weeks to 10 weeks for summer? It used to be 16/18 without make up games and a tournament.

| This is a crazy idea...But why dont we just get rid of fall league and extend the summer league into october just like the MLB regular season. That way, we would not have to take a break, or worry about getting more money for fall. Just raise price for summer since the season would be extended. Just a thought.

| My opinion is this. 1) People have a hard enough time getting guys to play at the end of the season anyway. I think once you get over 18 or 20 games, guys start to lose their interest a little. 2) Same as what I stated earlier. There are a lot of people that can only play in the summer time. They have other obligations in spring and fall. That's one reason why we have 40 teams in the summer and 29 in the fall. Which by the way has been rising. 2 years ago we had I think 13 mens teams and 6 co-ed teams in the fall. So with more teams, we should definately change something up to have more games and get done earlier.

| Is it worth the headache and trouble trying to play games and re-schedule after mid October? Seems like after last year and this year its not worth it. I am finding that team members start losing interest once it starts raining and getting cold. Just my humble 2 cents.

| Hey Guys I play in the Co-ed north division and do believe more than just myself would be fine with ending the year and doing a partial reinbursment payout. We all know that the weather is causing you guys alot of headaches to get makeup games in. I would suggest contacting the captains and see if this could be an answer to some of your Headaches. It has been a fun year playing Co-ed, but Nov. is near and with that brings other responsibilities, Thank You

| I talked with Lester and I think we're gonna try and get what we can in next year (it's supposed to be nice all week) and go from there. that may be it, but we'll see.
